How the secure consultation will work

This page describes the architecture and status of the clinical consultation. It is an approval-gated foundation, so there is no questionnaire to submit yet and no answers are collected.

The questions, decision rules and escalation pathways must be approved and versioned by Jace Medical’s prescribing clinician and clinical governance lead before they are used. Until then, this site does not accept a submission and does not make, imply or store a clinical decision.

This page is deliberately a description of the intended experience, not a working form.

Structure

What the consultation will cover

One clinical concept per screen where that reduces cognitive load, with persistent labels and clear help text.

    Identity and contact

    Basic details needed to create a record and confirm who the assessment is for.

    Measurements

    Height and weight, when they were recorded, and how they can be verified if needed.

  3. 3

    Medical history and medicines

    Conditions, current and previous medicines, allergies and any recent or planned procedures.

  4. 4

    Reproductive safety

    Only shown when it is clinically relevant, covering pregnancy, breastfeeding and plans to conceive.

  5. 5

    Lifestyle and support

    Goals, previous weight-management attempts and the practical support you may need.

    Review and submit

    A summary of your answers that you read before submitting, with an immutable version kept for the clinical record.

Status

Clear statuses, and a separate decision

Understanding where your information is helps you know what happens next. The outcome is kept separate from the status.

Sent for clinical review; no decision has been made.
Awaiting information
A clinician has asked for more detail or evidence.
Under review
A prescriber is considering your information.
Completed
Review is finished. A completed review does not imply that treatment was approved.

Privacy and security

Health data needs care

Consultation answers are special-category personal data. They will be protected by design, not treated as ordinary web content.

Server-side, access controlled

Clinical business logic and decisions will live in the API, not in browser code. Answers will not be placed in URLs, analytics or third-party scripts.

Versioned and attributable

Submitted answers are kept as a versioned snapshot. Later corrections are recorded as amendments rather than silent edits.

Data residency, retention, lawful basis, the privacy notice and the identity, weight and prescription verification approach must all be approved before real patient data is collected.
